1. Paid Recruitment
Agencies paying for a job interview or a direct job offer are often a trick. Scammers may ask you for payment for the following reasons:
- Scheduling interview
- TDS or tax benefit
- Uniforms and Documentation.
Authentic companies with real jobs charge no money to anyone
2. Research the job and company
A simple search of the referenced website and job profile can distinguish fake and real jobs. Learn about the company before going for an interview, and ask for an ID proof to be sure.
3. No shortcut in Carrier
If a company offers a job without an interview or provides a high income for part-time jobs, they may be fraudulent. Work from home jobs are examples where people think that it is easy to work for a few hours from home and earn some money. It is fake if employers ask candidates to deposit some initial amount in their account and they ask in the name of providing job kit, etc.
4. Career Consulting Scams base
These scams are rampant in the current Indian job scenario. In these frauds, career advisors contact you citing the impact that has been caused by your resume, and want to represent you and help you get a job. In short, it is a pitch of service that the agency wants to sell without revealing its hidden purpose.
5. Recruitment at Scams base
Under the recruitment of scams, an agency contacts a candidate to promise him or her a good job, but only then does specific training with them. These agencies charge money for this training and fake the candidates without offering them a job.
The Cybercrime Department has confirmed the filing of many such cases of job fraud, however, a large percentage of such scams go unrecognized due to guilt or embarrassment from unrelated candidates.
